IDP Officer
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and alignment of the annual Integrated Development Plan (IDP) according to statutory local government frameworks and deadlines.
- Plan, logistically organize, and facilitate IDP community roadshows, public hearings, and stakeholder engagement forums across all municipal wards.
- Liaise with provincial departments, district authorities, and sector departments to align municipal strategies with national and provincial development priorities.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret socio-economic data, community needs assessments, and ward-based priority lists for inclusion in the strategic document.
- Compile legislative IDP process plans, progress reports, and close-out documentation for submission to the Council, Provincial COGTA, and National Treasury.
