Permanent Position

Requirements:

• Matric
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree or equivalent Legal Qualification (NQF 8)
• Admission as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa
• Valid Driver’s License
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African local government legislation (e.g., Municipal Systems Act, Municipal Structures Act, and the Municipal Finance Management Act
• No criminal Record/Pending cases
• 5 years of relevant experience, of which two (2) must be at the supervisory level

Officer – Driving License and Testing Centre (DLTC)
SALARY: R250 996.20 per annum

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Grade F Examiner qualification
• No negative records/pending matters with the Department of Transport

MLB CLERK/CASHIER X2

SALARY: R130 524.60 per annum
( 1 x ESTCOURT & 1 x WEENEN)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Computer literacy – office application
• eNatis system experience
• 1-year relevant experience
• Valid Driver’s licence

This is a fixed term performance based-contract for period not exceeding one (1) year after the election of the next Council of the Municipality. The post closes on 30th March 2026.

Total Remuneration is in line with Government Gazette No 53882 dated 18 December 2025, on Upper Limits of Total Remuneration Packages of Municipal Managers and Managers Directly Accountable to Municipal Managers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

• Five years’ Experience at a Senior Management level, and must have proven institutional transformation record in the public or private sector.
• B. Degree in Public Administration / Political Science / Social Sciences / Law/or other relevant qualifications.
• Valid driving license
