Public Notice – Draft IDP Budget 2023-2024

Notice is hereby given in terms of Chapter 5 Section 25 of the Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003 read together with Section 34 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000 that the following draft documents were adopted by the Municipal Council on the 30 March 2023.

  1. Integrated Development Plan (IDP) 2023-2024
  2. Draft Budget 2023-2024

Notice to all service providers

Kindly be informed that municipalities have been ordered to refrain from the application of Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017 due to a court order from the supreme court of appeal that declared the regulations inconsistent with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (Act 5 of 2000).

ABOUT INKOSI LANGALIBALELE MUNICIPALITY

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality is one of the three municipalities situated within the uThukela District in the KwaZulu-Natal province. It was established by the amalgamation of the Imbabazane and uMtshezi Local Municipalities in August 2016.
