The municipality has been working tireless to improve from its financial problems when compared to the previous financial year. Though the situation has improved however the political leadership together with the management of the municipality with the help of Provincial Cogta still utilises the Interim Finance Committee (IFC) as a tool to avoid financial deterioration and to further stabilise fiscal affairs of the municipality. The committee still holds weekly meetings which analyses the finances for the month and determine which creditors to be paid.
